AMERICAN LEGION RIDERS
CHAPTER 127
American Legion Post 127 in Tomball, TX is sponsoring the startup of the American Legion Riders for our area. The American Legion Riders is a Member Organized Riding Club comprised of motorcycle riding enthusiasts within the American Legion family of organizations who share common passions and goals. Our bond is our dedication to supporting and serving Veterans, Veteran Organizations, and Youth Programs in our local and surrounding communities.
The Riders will be doing a meet & greet at Tad’s Bar & Grill (1000 West Main Street, Tomball) at 1800 on Thursday September 1st. If you’re interested in riding or just want to see who we are come join us.

ALR Chapter 127 will be holding our first meeting in the VFW Bunker on Tuesday 13 September at 1900. All potential riders are welcome.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
Members must hold membership in and be in good standing with The American Legion, American Legion Auxiliary or Sons of The American Legion.
Members must be legally registered motorcycle owners or be the legally registered owner’s spouse within the state of registration.
All operators must be properly licensed and insured per state laws.
All members must obey motor-vehicle laws in the state in which they are operating a motorcycle or riding as a passenger.
AMERICAN LEGION RIDERS PREAMBLE
For God and Country, we associate ourselves as members of the American Legion Family, constituting the American Legion Riders for the following purposes:
To uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America;
To maintain Law and Order;
To foster and perpetuate a one hundred percent Americanism;
To preserve the memories and incidents of our associations in all Wars;
To inculcate a sense of individual obligation to the Community, State and Nation;
To combat the autocracy of both the classes and the masses;
To make right the Master of Might;
To promote Peace and Goodwill on earth;
To safeguard and transmit to posterity the principles of Justice, Freedom and Democracy;
To participate in parades and other ceremonies which are in keeping with the aims and purposes of the American Legion;
To promote motorcycle safety education programs and provide a social atmosphere for American Legion Family members with the same motorcycle interests;
To consecrate and sanctify our association by our devotion to mutual helpfulness.
